Four of us attended the July CinDay meeting last night. It was great to catch up with a few people who haven’t been able to join us for a while.
We talked about who’s been telling what – imagine the story of Jonah being told to background sound effects from a Bell Choir! And presenting the Healing of the Paralytic for a regional church gathering…then being invited to tell it again for a local church congregation.
And some of us are getting ready to travel to Chevy Chase, MD, for the Network of Biblical Storytellers’ International, 2017 Festival Gathering next week. Hope we’ll see you there…if not next week, then maybe next year, at the 2018 Gathering.
