We spent a bit of time catching up when CinDay met for our June meeting. Since our last meeting, there’s been travel, tornadoes, a new job, Festival Gathering plans, and a new church connection. And, as always, there was plenty of good food and good storytelling.
First – the new church connection. CinDay now has “dual standing”, as both a Guild of the Network of Biblical Storytellers, Intl., and a Ministry Team of Zion United Church of Christ, in Norwood. This church connection gives us a permanent home base and meeting location, and more opportunities to model and practice the incorporation of biblical storytelling into the life of the local church.
Our second change is to our meeting schedule. There will be no CinDay meeting in July. But we hope we’ll see you at the 2019 Festival Gathering, July 31-August 3, in Dayton, Ohio. (need info? click here) In August, we will meet on Thursday, Aug 22. But, starting in September, our meeting date will change to the third Monday of the month (instead of our current “4th Thursday of the month” schedule).
