It was great to see the five people who were at our August 2018 CinDay Guild meeting in Dayton last week, especially since 2 were first-timers. (Hope to see you again at future meetings.)
We shared experiences from the recent Network of Biblical Storytellers’ Festival Gathering (which will be held in Dayton again next fall – watch this space for details), did a brief story workshop on John’s baptism of Jesus (Mark 1:1-12), and started planning a Biblical storytelling workshop.
UPDATE: the storytelling workshop mentioned below has been postponed until Spring 2019. We’ll make sure you have info on it in plenty of time to register. Because of this change, our October meeting will occur as originally scheduled: Thursday, October 25th, (6:30 potluck dinner, meeting at 7pm) at Clifton UMC – 3416 Clifton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220.
That upcoming Biblical storytelling workshop will be held in the Cincinnati area in late October. We’ll send details out to our regular email list soon, as they are finalized, but save the date is Saturday, October 20. (not on our regular email list? sent your contact info to CinDayNBS@gmail.com)
