Had a great meeting the last week of April, and made many new friends.
We met at Greater Love Christian Church in Dayton, with their biblical storytelling group Tongues of Truth. The Tongues of Truth leader is a long time CinDay member, who is resurrecting the storytelling group at her church. Years ago, CinDay and Tongues of Truth did a joint storytelling of “Fire Stories”. (You can see the story list and pictures of that event here.) After our usual fantastic potluck meal, we shared stories and, at the same time, practiced the skill of constructive coaching, in the style of Doug Lipman.
We’re looking forward to meeting with Tongues of Truth again in July, and waiting eagerly for the date of their Storytelling program later this fall.
