There were 3 in attendance at our first meeting of 2016, with a pot luck dinner of pizza, chicken salad sandwiches and brownies.
There was much to catch up on after our 4 month seasonal break:
Sylvia reported on the tandem tellings she and Missy did during the holidays.
The story of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5) (and the current US political environment) led to a conversation about Christian integrity. From that, we drew such wisdom as “Who you are is what you are when no one is looking”, and “This is the story you are telling about your church; what would a first time visitor hear?”
And, under the category of housekeeping, we realized that our regular “4th Thursday of the month” meeting schedule would put our next on Maundy Thursday. So March’s CinDay meeting will be pushed back a week to March 31.
