There were 4 of us gathered virtually for May’s CinDay meeting. The conversation about how to Tell the Story during a pandemic shutdown continued.
Each of us have had experiences with different goals, technology and organizational settings. The big question for us is: which options will best serve CinDay, and our audience. We’re leaning towards pre-recorded stories posted on one of the public social media sites, but no decision yet. (Contact me at cindaynbs@gmail.com if you have experience or suggestions. We hope to have a plan developed at/by our next meeting.)
In the meantime, here’s a couple of ways you can stay connected. First, you can find videos of storytelling with discussion at the GoTell site.
And, also, the Network of Biblical Storytellers, Intl. 2020 Festival Gathering is going digital this year. You can find information about how to participate from home at the NBSI site. And, as a lead up to the Gathering, Lighting the Fire storytellings will also be virtual, via Zoom, on the 3rd Thursday of May, June, July and August. And, of course, CinDay will be meeting virtually again in June.
