Notes from April 25 CinDay meeting

Thursday, April 25 – Lebanon Masonic Ladies Program
It was agreed we would gather at 7:15 p.m. for a program start at 7:30 p.m. Janet will send parking instructions and how to enter the building given her by the Harts, our hosts for the evening. We then set the program for the evening and Janet will provide 30 copies for our audience. The only change made to the draft program was to reverse the order of JoAnne and Amelia’s tellings – Amelia will now follow Tom and JoAnne will follow Amelia. JoAnne and Amelia practiced their stories for Thursday’s program.
Monday, April 29 – SEM Terrace in Milford
JoAnne arranged for CinDay Guild to return to SEM Terrace on Monday for a program to begin at 1:30 p.m. Janet will send instructions for how to locate the room where we’ll be performing. Neither Darrell nor Ellen will be able to join us this time, but we will have Tom and Amelia with us. The order of tellings will be Tom (story of the paralytic), JoAnne (Born from above), Janet (Pool at Bethsaida), and Amelia (either John’s resurrection story or Lydia/Lydia, both would apply to the theme “New Life”). Janet rehearsed her stories for the Monday program.
General Discussion
Tom pointed out to JoAnne that while she had given her scripture at John 3:1 – 17 she had actually ended the story at verse 8. JoAnne will amend her introductory remarks accordingly. Amelia may choose to bring a map illustrating Paul’s travels and his encounter with Lydia while she works on her “Lydia in Tucson” story development. It was noted that Darrell was familiar with the Masonic Temple in Lebanon, had been in the room where we will be telling, and may know some of the persons present. A general invitation to join CinDay Guild has been included with Thursday’s program, and there may be some interested in learning more about biblical storytelling.
