April 2021

There were lots of things to catch up on, when the CinDay Guild met in April: travel, projects and plans.

Two of our members attended and participated in the NBSI Canada Festival Gathering, which was held online again this year. There was a good turn out – over 150 people particiated, from 6 time zones. (One CinDay member was a major presenter at the Gathering, and 40 people attended the online workshop led by another.)

Locally, we’re also working on our contributions to the NBSI Biblical Storytelling Library, a project to make storytelling videos available online for worship and other Christian events. (And learning some new video editing skills along the way.) Two CinDay members have already submitted recorded tellings, and others are preparing their stories.

We’re still hosting our CinDay meetings online for the time being, but, as vaccine availablity increases, and public events reopen, we’re looking forward to the time when we can tell our stories in person again.
