Ah, it was a small (3 people) but enjoyable group that met for our CinDay meeting last week. Seems CinDay people are kind of busy right now, some with family vacations, or work, others with speaking engagements.
For instance, Tom was in NYC the last week of May, speaking about biblical storytelling and peacemaking at the Center and Library for Social Justice.
He also recently delivered 3 lectures at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis (Missouri Synod Lutheran) for their “Exegetical Day” — The lectures were on biblical storytelling for digital culture. It was well received and he had good follow-up conversations.
(BTW, Tom finished proofing the galley proofs of his new book “Messiah of Peace”, and it is now in hands of editors again. According to Amelia, the book is inching towards publication.)
