After catching up on each other’s recent storytelling, we got into a discussion about how story learning and telling can be used to “make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19). That is, how can we encourage people who don’t see themselves as storytellers, to learn stories of the Bible for their own personal spiritual growth?
Which, interestingly enough, led to the idea of “flash mob” storytelling. Maybe you’ve seen the YouTube videos, of groups of people who “spontaneously” burst into song in the atrium of a shopping center? If Seniors and dancers can do it, why can’t storytellers?
